Valithria Dreamwalker So I'll start out by saying that this is a unique boss encounter, instead of healers being the support so that the dps can take down the boss, this time the dps will be the support so that the healers can heal up the boss. Typically you'll want a few healers on dreamwalker full time, I've found that paladin healers are usually the best suited for this. You will also need a couple people to stay on raid healing, that is what role I played in my video. So lets dive more in depth into the two different positions to play. Boss Healing: Occasionally throughout the fight she will spawn portals into "The Dream" when you enter you will be swimming through the air and around the dragon (She is all healthy in The Dream) and you will be picking up these green orbs that will give you buff that will increase your healing by 10% and stacks without a limit that I know of, as well as restore mana. Dreamwalker has quite a large health pool and healing on her will go slowly, your going to want the healers that are on the boss full time to go into The Dream every time that they can and gather as many orbs as they can. The more stacks of the debuff the you get the stronger your healing spells will be and the quicker her health will thus be going up. Raid Healing: Raid healing in this fight is pretty much just like most fights, there will be adds coming out of the 4 doors in the corners of the room. The tanks will pick them up and dps will kill them. There are a few adds that do particularly more damage then others however. Blazing Skeletons do an ability called Lay Waste which will do uninterruptible raid damage that will wipe your raid really quickly if not dealt with. There are also Risen Archmage's that will cast Frostbolt Volley which, even though it says nearby enemies it will pretty much hit everyone in the raid with frost damage as well as slow them. If you get low on mana you can jump in a portal real quick and grab a couple orbs to regen your mana, but to be honest the raid damage is very manageable and you shouldn't have to, the only reason I did in my video was to show you guys what it looked like. I put set dreamwalker to my focus target and she appeared on my healbot as well, so it was very simple to make sure I had all my hots on her at all times. Whether you use healbot or not however I suggest you throw heals towards dreamwalker if you get a chance, I mean every little bit helps ya know? Things everyone should look out for: The Risen Archmage's will create Mana Void's which appear as flashing shadow orb things and will reduce your mana quick, watch out for them and stay away from them so that you don't have to go in The Dream and steal some of the boss healer's buffs. There will also be blue circles spawning on the ground that you will want to stay out of, if your on one when it activates you will be thrown into the air and take frost damage that is very avoidable. There are some CDs that you will want to save for when your boss healers get lots of the healing buff stacked up. Some of these buffs are Heroism/Bloodlust, and Guardian Spirit which can be cast on Dreamwalker and helps a TON. If your a Paladin here is a very useful guide for you from HealingCouncil.com.
