Blood Prince Council

So I know its taken me a while to get a video of this fight up but I wanted the video to be perfect and well it still isn't perfect execution but I feel that I should have one up by now so here it is. In this fight there are 3 princes, only one of which will be attack-able at any given time however they do share a health pool.

History:

You have seen each of these princes before in different WoTLK dungeons. Keleseth in Utgarde Keep, Valanar in Naxxanar in Borean Tundra, and Taldaram in Ahn'kahet the Old Kingdom.

Prince Valanar (Shock boss)

Prince Valanar has 3 different abilities, both when he is empowered and not empowered he will spawn kinetic bombs throughout the room which will start up in the air and fall down towards the ground (slowly) and if they hit the ground they will do a great deal of AoE damage. You notice I said "if" right? well there is a way to make it so that they never hit the ground, when you dps them they go higher into the air so set a couple of ranged in your raid to do nothing but go around and make sure all the kinetic bombs stay in the air. prince Valanar's next ability is Shock Vortex which will spawn in a random spot in the room, you will be able to see it before it actually starts doing AoE damage so if you see one spawn by you get away! It will appear as a white swirl on the ground. When it does start doing AoE damage it will knock you and anyone in the range of it away and do damage. This isn't a HUGE problem unless you are trying to stack when prince Taldaram is empowered and one spawns right by you. When prince Valanar is Empowered he will do a Empowered Shock Vortex which will create a shock vortex wherever each person in the raid is that will only 'shock' once and won't do damage to the individual but will do damage to the people around them, however if you have a cluster of people in one spot (exp. Melee) then that is a lot of instant damage, so when Prince Valanar gets empowered and is about to do his empowered shock vortex you want to have everyone spread out, if done right there should be no damage taken from the empowered shock vortex.

Prince Taldaram (Fire)

Prince Taldaram also has 3 different abilities, his first two don't really need to be worried about too much, there is no way to avoid them and they do minimal amounts of raid damage, they are Conjure ball of Flames and Glittering Sparks. When empowered however he does Conjure Empowered Ball of Flames, this will target a random raid member (anyone not close to him and it is possible for it to be another tank) and send a big Flame ball towards them, upon contact this flame ball will explode doing damage to the person and anyone around them. If this ball does its full amount of damage it will kill the person and anyone around them. The amount of damage the fire ball does upon contact is reduced by each person the fireball has to go through to get to its target. So when Prince Taldaram gets empowered in my raid group we have all the melee run to him to start dps as fast as they can (if they don't get their quick they have a chance to get targeted with the fire ball and could thus wipe out all of your melee and a tank which would wipe the raid. We have all the ranged stack up on the Prince Taldaram tank and wait to see who gets targeted once he chooses a target we have that person run in the opposite direction of the fire boss away from the group thus the fireball has to go through all of us to get to its target and the damage is reduced to just about nothing.

Prince keleseth (Shadow)

This prince, like the others, also has 3 abilities, Shadow Lance, Shadow Resonance, and Empowered Shadow lance. This boss is different from the other bosses in the aspect that he doesn't do any AoE damage at all. If your in 10 man and don't have another person who can tank (Or I guess this would work on 25 man as well) this one can be tanked by a ranged dps, and I will explain to you why. This boss just uses Shadow Lance over and over, when he is empowered he switches to Empowered Shadow Lance. These deal a lot of shadow damage and the damage can be reduced through shadow resistance, you can build your shadow resistance by picking up the purple orbs that will spawn throughout the room, a simple attack should easily grab them (DK tanks are therefore good for this fight because of their many ranged agro grabbers). The more of them you have the less damage you are going to take from the Shadow Lance. The only thing the dps has to watch for is when they are attacking this boss they can't use any AoE's or Cleaves or they could kill the orbs.

Tips for Healers:

Tank healing gets pretty insane during this fight, make sure to keep an eye on them, and in general raid healing is there as always, but should not be insane on this fight if people are doing what they are supposed to.

Heroic:

The Heroic version of this encounter really isn't that much different from the regular version, there are the usual upgrades where they have more health and they hit harder that is to be expected. But the only new thing is a debuff called Shadow Prison, which stacks on you when you move. It doesn't do enough damage to justify not moving at all, just try not to move too much and make sure you wait for 10 seconds every time you stop so it can drop off.
